One of the goals in Mystic Worlds RPG is to level your character (becoming stronger) and this page will explain how that works and what you gain along the way as you level up. Our game uses Experience (Exp) to increase a character's level. A character gains experience when participating in various game elements such as questing, posting, or battles. Each time your character levels, they gain spendable points you can then use to strengthen or expand your character. Leveling is important to be able to experience everything the game has to offer, but there is still plenty to do for those who might level a bit slower than others!
The Basics
Your First Roll
After registering, you should find a GM and ask to do your Destiny roll. This roll will give a lucky few players an early perk for their character. Don't feel bad if you don't get it though, its meant to be rare! You'll roll "d25" in the chat room with a GM; if you get one of the following results, you get a perk (or the unlucky 'Bad Luck' roll.)
Special Destiny
1 - Royalty - You have recognized royal blood and gain the title 'Royal'.
5 - Hero/Villian - You're destined for greatness. +1 to all stats.
8 - Bad Luck - You're cursed with bad luck. -1 all stats.
14 - Fortune - You came into money at some point. +5,000gp
19 - Unearthly Beauty - Any positive rolls involving your looks get a +5 or +25%
25- Skilled - Things come more naturally to you than others. +5 SP & CP

Skill Points (SP)
You'll gain 2 SP each time you level. These points can be used to strengthen race abilities or stats. They can be used in a few other ways as well, but you'll have to find those on the site yourself!
Class Points (CP)
Similar to SP, you will earn CP every level. You'll gain 2, and will be able to spend these ONLY on things directly related to your class (such as languages, or skills.)
Achievement Points (AP)
You earn these for gaining achievements. Some achievements are listed below, but others might include participating in Quests or Events. You can spend your AP as either SP or CP, so if you'd like to be a little ahead of others, achievements are a great method.

Dice are either rolled inside the room with our dice bot (Ava_Silverbow) or by a GM at home for a forum event. To roll dice, type in the main room a 'd' and then a number. For example: d25 . Delphi has a /roll command, but we do not use that in our game, so please use the 'd20' method instead.
Dice will be used primarily in Quests or Duels. You do not have to worry about dice when you are casually role playing. Role play is generally free form outside of 'official' events. The only time you'd roll during play, is if you are trying to use a skill or attack against another player.
