  • (W) Height no larger than 1'6", no adult smaller than 5 inches.

  • (G) Height no larger than 3 feet, no adult smaller than 1 foot.

  • (W) Wings. (G) No Wings.

  • (W/G) Any tones for body/hair/eyes/wings.

  • (W/G) Most have some elf-like feature on them such as pointed ears.

  • Keep appearance close to the traditional look of creature chosen (a fairy should have butterfly wings, a pixie dragonfly wings, a gnome should have dwarf-like looks, an imp should have pointed ears and a long nose, etc.)

 

Average Appearance (Guide)

  • Fairies: Butterfly Wings, Pink or Blue Tones, Humanoid Body, 8" tall.

  • Pixies: Dragonfly Wings, Purple or Green Tones, Humanoid Body, Pointed Teeth, 6" tall.

  • Gnomes: Like tiny Dwarves, long beards, round nose, round eyes.

  • Imps: Like mini demons, no wings, green skin, often bald, large pointed ears on sides of head, exaggeratedly large hands and feet.

  • Sprites: Like tiny elves, no wings, very skinny with tiny hands and feet.

Natural Defenses

  • (W) Flight

  • (G) Teleporting. Teleportation is limited to the same room, or range of sight (about 10 feet.)
    GM Discretion. Not allowed as a defense in battle.

  • Opponents attack roll will be halved for any melee attacks due to Fae's size and speed making them difficult to hit. Doesn't apply for Fae vs Fae.

  • Cannot use items more than half their size.

Natural Abilities

  • In battle, Fae will bleed out 'MP' instead of 'LP' until the MP runs out, at which point they will finally begin to bleed blood instead of magic and die, since they suffer without their magic. They can also still cast magic after the MP is gone, using up LP to cast instead. Once LP runs out though, they die like other beings. If the MP is ever specially drained/blocked by an opponent (such as an item, skill, or magic neutral zone) the MP will vanish and the Fae will be left with only LP, and cannot cast magic.

  • They have Trickery magic unlocked despite class.

Culture and History

We call this race Fae to keep it general. Fae are defined as small creatures (the smallest race) that inhabit the world, either aiding in its progression (such as nature), or spending their time as tricksters. They adapt to the big world around them by utilizing items most other races take consider unimportant, garbage, or mere tools.

 

The Fae are all smaller creatures with elf-like features that are magical by nature and sometimes trouble makers. Most have influence over nature or weather.

 

Because this race option is so diverse, there will be certain restrictions placed on certain versions of Fae, but otherwise you are welcome to create your character as close to your vision as possible.

 

This race is open to most options of a 'small' creature such as, the winged: Fairies, Pixies;
Or the non-winged: Spriggans, Changelings, Goblins, Gnomes, Sprites, Brownies. Others similar to these are open to request for approval.

 

At registration, you'll pick between winged (W), or grounded (G) Fae, which have different sets of abilities below.
